"Mentoring through Trinity has hands down been the greatest experience of my life. This is a program that not only cares about their mentees, but also their staff and it shows in the quality of mentoring. Growing up I was fortunate enough to have some amazing mentors in my life. My hope for my mentoring is to give my mentees the opportunity of mentorship that I had. Mentoring has allowed me to see just how impactful one-on-one time for youth can be. Trinity has strengthened my desire to work with teens and I am beyond grateful for that. As cheesy as it sounds, you can't change the world, but you can change that one kid's world. I wish everywhere had a program as amazing, impactful, and hands-on as this program." |

"When I think of a mentor, I think of someone who is willing to walk alongside you in both the good and bad seasons of life. Because of this job of being a mentor it has been very rewarding for me when I see the child making headway on their goals, which gives me a lot of joy! Even though this is very rewarding, the journey getting there can be quite difficult. These moments have taught me patience and the willingness to be self-sacrificial instead of being self-centered. All in all, this job has changed me and has helped me to help others grow as well." |
