What is a Workshop?

A Trinity Workshop  is a fun, goal oriented, short-term, one-on-one relationship where Mentors bring their clients to Trinity to participate in organized activities in a small group.

Who are they designed for?

Trinity Workshops are a fun and impactful experience for children ages 7-17 who have a mental health diagnosis, have a history of trauma or could use a helping hand in developing peer relationships

How often are they?

Workshops occur year-round, with After School Workshops running January-May and September-December and Summer Workshops happening between in June, July and August. The After School Workshops are once-weekly for four weeks on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The Summer Workshops are Monday thru Thursday.
How big are they?
The number of participants in Workshops varies, but we have seen a trend of approximately 3 to 7 participants per After School Workshop and 7 to 23 participants per Summer Workshop. Each participant is matched with a Trinity Workshops Mentor and depending on the number of participants per Workshop, there will be one or two additional Leaders who choose and run the Workshop activities and provide additional support for participants and staff.

We'd love to hear from you! Email us at Workshops@Trinity-EC.com
How do you get signed up?
Simple! Have your social worker reach out to our Workshop Manager at Workshops@trinity-ec.com. The Workshop Manager will send a specific Workshops Referral. Complete the form and send back to us! Upon receipt of the completed referral form, the Workshops Manager will coordinate with the social worker and family to schedule an intake screening to determine eligibility. If a child has already participated recently in the Workshops or Long-Term Mentoring at Trinity, they will likely only need an updated referral form (per calendar year).
“This program and the mentors have had such a positive impact on my son! It has  been a great learning experience for him and has improved his social skills. A huge thank you to all the staff and mentors!”
